ECO4 retrofit grant: amount, eligibility, sunset and stacking with the other live grants.
The grant
ECO4 funds a whole-house treatment package on eligible low-income or vulnerable households. Indicative homeowner-side value £8,000to£12,000 per household; obligated supplier carries the cost.
Sunset
ECO4 closes to new measures on 31 December 2026. Sequencing decisions in the second half of 2026 should treat this as a cliff edge, not a soft transition; the Warm Homes Plan is expected to pick up early 2027.
