Home Energy Scotland is the principal scheme route: grant plus interest-free loan combination, structurally different from the English BUS plus ECO4 / GBIS mix. Heat-pump grant currently £7,500 plus a further £7,500 interest-free loan envelope on top.

Stone tenement retrofit costs are dominated by communal-stair coordination and traditional-construction Path C designation. A typical flat-level deep retrofit lands at £28,000to£50,000(pre-grant).
